The room and bed were so comfortable. I was sad to wake up and see it was almost 7 AM. I really wanted to have more time in this awesome bed. Luckily Tim volunteered to shower first, so I had some more time to sleep.
Tim finished up and then I got ready. We went downstairs for a really nice breakfast. We returned to the room, packed up, and took our bags to the car before heading to the Titanic Experience.
By the way, I got this photo of the Titanic Experience last night out our hotel window. It is the lit up, purple building. The lower building is part of the hotel. This is where the Titanic was drawn up.

This is inside the Titanic Experience. It is a collection of videos, photographs, and recordings brought together to tell the story of the Belfast shipbuilding history, through the development and building of the Titanic, to the maiden voyage, to the sinking, to the investigation, and finishes off with the discovery of the Titanic lying on the ocean floor.
This is out a window of the museum. This is where the Titanic was built. It was actually built on land and then sort of rolled into the water behind it. This area actually had 2 ships being built. The Titanic was built on the left side.
OK...Here I am standing outside where the Titanic was built. See the outline of the front of the ship in the pavement? Cool....huh?!?
By the way, Game of Thrones was filmed in this large sound stage building right near the Titanic site.
Yet another shot of the museum.
Somehow we managed to spend over 3 hours walking around the museum. We then when a block away and toured the tender that was used to transport the passengers 40 minutes from land to where the Titanic was anchored out. For some reason Tim didn't take any photographs of the SS Nomadic. Probably because I kept telling him that we had to go because we had a 2 hour drive to get to Trim.
We finally returned to the car and headed to Trim. It is a 2 hour drive, but it wound up that all the roads were either a highway or a wide 2 lane road. I was relieved that I didn't have to deal with narrow, windy roads. 2 hour later we were pulling into the driveway of our B&B in Trim.
After checking in we were starving, so we walked into town to look for a place to eat. On the way we passed this cool Gulliver's Travel mural. It winds up that Swift actually lived here in Trim after 1700.

After walking around town about 3 times, we finally agreed on trying Indian. Tim wasn't too excited since Indian isn't his favorite, but when the food came out he was very happy. It was a delicious meal.
After dinner we walked to the Trim Castle completed in 1220. This castle was the actual castle used in the movie Braveheart.
We were supposed to take a walk along the river trail to some ruins and a pub 20 minutes away. We started the walk, but decided against it since the walk would have taken us further away from our B&B. It would have been 1 hour of walking and we were very full from dinner and pretty tired from walking around the museum for 3 hours. So, we headed for home. On the way we stopped and watched some cows eating dinner.
We arrived back to the B&B around 7:30 PM and relaxed watching TV and blogging. Tomorrow we finish our circuit in Ireland and return to Dublin for our last night in Ireland. Until then...
