We will be traveling in Turkey, Cyprus, Estonia, and Scandinavia (Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark) from 22 April - 1 September 2024.
This will be our sixth trip to Europe to close out on all the European countries we have missed. Here is a list of the countries we will be visiting this time:

TRANSPORTATION THERE: Why fly when you can take a boat? This is our new credo as we enjoy the journey as much as the destination. Yes, we can easily fly to Europe in 6 hours, but we decided to take a transatlantic cruise instead. I found a transatlantic cruise that left from Fort Lauderdale, Florida on 7 April. I thought this might work since we have already booked a 1 week cruise with friends out of Miami, Florida from 16 - 23 March. 7 April is only 2 weeks later, so I started looking at AirBnB's in Miami that we can hang out in for 2 weeks while awaiting the transatlantic cruise. I then figured out that the ship we will be on for the transatlantic cruise has a 14-day Tropical / Eastern Caribbean cruise before the transatlantic cruise. So...we will be on a cruise ship for 36 days before landing in Rotterdam, The Netherlands on 21 April.

TRANSPORTATION BACK: Why not cruise back? Princess Cruises, one that we frequent, has a 2-week transatlantic that leave England on 23 September and arrives to Fort Lauderdale, Florida on 7 October which is later than we want to be back. After more searching I found the ultimate transatlantic cruise, Cunard Queen Mary 2. One of the last ocean liners still operational. This cruise will take us from Southampton, England to New York, NY from 15 - 22 September and promises to be the ultimate conclusion to an amazing 6 month adventure.
