Tomorrow we start making our way to Dublin, Ireland. We are taking a train (Amtrak) from Sandusky, Ohio to Poughkeepsie, New York where we will stay with my good friend Cathy for a couple of days before boarding a plane (Norwegian Airlines) from Newburgh, NY to Dublin.
Why a train to a plane? Well, the cost of flying from Cleveland to Dublin one-way was over $500 per ticket. Taking a train and the flight costs $442 for the both of us!
Tim and I are very much looking forward to getting back on the road. We have been hanging out in Pensacola, Florida for 2 months and were starting to get antsy. We are very ready to get going.
