After Rome, we arrived in Orvieto by train and picked up our next rental car, the Fiat 500X. Before checking into our quarters in Orvieto, we drove out 25 minutes to Civita. The town gets its popularity from the fairy tale look of the place. This was another bit of a workout - you walk down to the bridge, and then up to the town, and then take a breather for a few minutes.
And then we checked into Orvieto and found a Michelin listed restaurant. This is the artichoke.
The town of St Francis of Assisi - here is the grand cathedral/monastery built in his name. We saw several Franciscan Monks coming to visit the town of the man that made them who they are.
