Heading to some of the best of Slovakia - the great outdoors.
Lots of nice signage describing geology, flora and fauna, although all in Slovak - no issues, we have our phone translator.
Approaching the site of old castle ruins - has some sketchy aids for climbing up to the old rock structures.
Going back down the other side, it became a little dicey here - there were "helper" things, but time was having its toll, and some were a bit fading away. We actually got some help from people coming up, with walking sticks, in getting us across some sections missing the "help" parts.
We now break out into lush sloping meadows.
We discovered a perfectly placed family tavern - we almost just passed it by, but then decided, hey, how often do you get to kick back and drink a brew in such a setting - and a bonus, the people who helped us on the trail dropped in so we secretly paid their bill on the way out.
The Von Trapp family ????
We finish our looping hike back to the car.
Now at Salaši Krajinka, a destination-type restaurant, with a bakery/local foods market, animals, and a tractor museum.
And now in Prešovský kraj for the night.
Our lodging for the night...
