Today we hoped to tour Namsan Mountain Park, in the heart of the city, but the skies aren't looking promising - it would probably be a soaker, and without getting the skyline views. So we delay a bit, and then decide to string together some various other spots to sight see.
We walked through a dense neighborhood of small industrial shops with a hundred or more of mom and pop hardware stores. And then get to a market complex of hard goods and tiny restaurants.

We find the food area finally - our stomachs are growling. Picking one, hmmm, it's probably all good - let's focus on finding one with two empty seats next to each other - how about this one, yeah, it's so good.
"The Dongdaemun Design Plaza, abbreviated as DDP, is a major urban development landmark in Seoul with a distinctively neofuturistic design characterized by the "powerful, curving forms of elongated structures." The landmark is the centerpiece of South Korea's fashion hub and a popular tourist destination. Dongdaemun features a walkable park on its roofs, large global exhibition spaces, futuristic retail stores, and restored parts of the Seoul fortress. The DDP contributed to Seoul's designation as the World Design Capital in 2010. Construction started in 2009, and it was officially inaugurated on March 21, 2014."
There's even some preserved ruins on the grounds.
Not much seemed to be going on inside - hmmm, the exhibition spaces were mostly empty and seemed to be in-between events. There were dozens of empty wall hangers in the corridors seemingly missing framed photos or art.
Now in Gangnam district - and looking for Psy of "Gangnam Style" fame.
There are other statues celebrating K-Pop stars along this avenue. Many of the K-Pop production companies are in the Gangnam area.
No Psy to be found, but his hands are here...
This is outside a multi-screen movie theater, and shows continuous previews of current and future movies.
Gotta wind down by finding more breweries...
