This will be a laid back day, no driving to do, we're gonna take a hike up above the village, and then hang out on the beach, followed by dinner. But first breakfast - the usual Turkish many little plates again.
Ah, we're well into the hike now, and starting to climb above the level of the village. Our current residence is on the beach of the little bay at the center of the photo below.
The little bay is receding into the distance as we get even higher.
We're seeing this little turtle species all along the coastal wooded areas
At the top of the trail loop, about 4 miles in - okay, Tim turned around 2 miles ago - something about the breakfast giving out too early. On the horizon is Rhodes, a Greek island.
Heading back, the red/white blaze mark of the Lycian Way is spotted, a 320-mile long trail through these parts.
Almost done - back on our beachfront main drag...
This is how Gerri spent the rest of the day, hanging out on the beach in front of our bungalow.
We have dinner again at our lodging - a schooner comes into view as we wait for our dinners to get cooked.
